This policy explains how PJD Digital Enterprises Pty Ltd (ABN 84 669 033 872), trading as Uppercut Digital and operating the brand “SEO for Dentists”, collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information. It applies to this website and to the services we provide to dental practices.
We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
Information you give us. When you complete a form, book an audit, email us or call us, we collect your name, practice name, email address, phone number, website address, and anything else you choose to tell us about your practice and its marketing.
Information collected automatically. When you visit this website we collect technical and usage data: IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device type, pages viewed, time on page, referring page, and the search terms or ads that brought you here.
Client account information. If you engage us, we hold the business and billing details needed to deliver and invoice the services, and we are given access to accounts you control, such as your website, Google Business Profile, Google Ads and analytics.
What we do not collect. We do not seek sensitive information as defined in the Privacy Act, and we do not want or knowingly collect patient health information. Our clients are dental practices, not their patients. Please do not send us patient records or any identifiable clinical information.
We collect personal information directly from you through the enquiry forms on this site, by email, by phone, and in meetings. We also collect usage data automatically through cookies and similar technologies, described in the Cookies section below.

We may also disclose information if our business is sold or restructured, in which case it would pass to the acquirer subject to this policy.
Several of the providers listed above store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. By using this site or engaging us, you acknowledge that your personal information may be disclosed to overseas recipients.
Where we disclose personal information overseas we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles it consistently with the APPs, including by relying on the provider’s own contractual data protection commitments. We cannot, however, guarantee that an overseas recipient will be subject to privacy laws equivalent to Australia’s.
This website uses cookies and similar technologies, small files stored by your browser, to keep the site working, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and support advertising.
Broadly they fall into three groups: essential cookies the site needs to function and to protect against bots; analytics cookies that tell us how the site is used; and advertising cookies set by Google and Meta that allow us to measure campaigns and show you our ads on other sites.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalised advertising directly with the platforms, through Google Ad Settings, your Meta ad preferences, or the Your AdChoices opt-out tool. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of this site work.
Personal information is held in our CRM, email systems, accounting software and website database. We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, including access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS), staff access limited to those who need it, and reputable providers with their own security programs.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will respond in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, including notifying affected individuals and the OAIC where required.
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or as long as the law requires, for example, financial records are generally kept for seven years. Enquiries that do not become engagements are retained for a reasonable period so we can respond to follow-up contact, and then deleted or de-identified.
You may ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete or misleading. Email hello@uppercutdigital.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable period, ordinarily within 30 days.
There is no charge for making a request. We may charge a reasonable fee for the cost of giving access in some circumstances, and we will tell you before doing so. If we refuse access or a correction, we will explain why in writing.
If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, please tell us first. Email hello@uppercutdigital.com.au with the details and we will acknowledge your complaint, investigate it, and respond in writing, ordinarily within 30 days.
